Our International Commitment to Maternal Health Support

Stigma Reduction Campaigns

We lead community outreach programs to raise awareness of postpartum depression, anxiety, and trauma, breaking generational silence around maternal mental health.

Empowering Women. Supporting Mothers. Strengthening Communities Across Africa.

At Changed Foundation

Our commitment to maternal mental health extends beyond borders.  We work with partners, communities, and healthcare structures across Africa to support women especially new mothers who face significant barriers to mental, emotional, and social wellbeing.

Our international programs focus on access, equity, cultural sensitivity, and sustainable community-driven support, ensuring women receive the care and support they deserve regardless of their country, background, or socioeconomic status.

Why Our Work in Africa Matters

Across many African communities, postnatal mental health challenges remain under-recognised and underserved.   Factors such as limited healthcare access, stigma, poverty, gender norms, and lack of emotional support make motherhood especially difficult for countless women.

We understand that in many developing communities, access to quality maternal healthcare remains a challenge. That’s why we provide financial support to women in developing regions, helping them afford safe delivery services, essential healthcare, and postnatal care.

Our maternal health initiatives include:

Postnatal Mental Health Community Hubs

  • Through financial assistance, the organization extends supports to mothers in developing countries to access quality maternal health services.
  • Prenatal and postnatal care workshops
  • Mental health education and awareness sessions
  • Emotional and psychological support for new and expecting mothers
  • Motherhood support groups, providing a community for shared experiences and encouragement
  • Emotional and psychological support for expecting mothers
  • The organization helps cover maternity-related expenses for women in developing parts of the world.
